About the Item
This beautiful Navette ring dates back to the Victorian period. At its centre sits a vivid emerald weighing 0.60 carat. The emerald is in the classic emerald cut and surrounded by a collection of old cut diamonds. The diamonds total a sizable 2.60 carat, ranging in colour from H to I and clarity from VS to SI. Each stone is set into silver, as was common place in the Victorian era. This creates a striking contrast with the 18 carat yellow gold basket and tapering band.
