About the Item
This Harajuku contemporary ring is made of 18 karat yellow gold with natural gems on your choice custom made.
The gems are:
Oval cut 2,65 carats natural unheated untreated vivid blue (royal blue) sapphire, GRS (Swiss Lab) certified, 8,58x6,93x5,27 mm, Madagascar.
Pear cut vivid natural ruby, 7,9x6,5mm, 1, 48 carats;
Dark purple red sapphire, oval cut, 0,9 carats;
Cushion cut purple sapphire, 2,08 carats, 7,9x7mm;
Small sapphires in matching colours.
The ring will be custom made by a fine jewellers in Berlin, who's family jewellery business is in the market since the 19th of century, with the highest standards of accuracy in fine jewellery. For this ring we work with gems, provided by the biggest gems company in Germany.
An unusual form makes this contemporary ring an art object. It was inspired by anime and harajuku street outfits, and symbolises a bloom of life in colours. Asian art theories are a part of inspiration for most of the pieces by Polya. Blue and yellow colours are a part of volunteering experience of the artist.

Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
