16.9 Carat Chrysoberyl Diamond Gold Ring.
Center stone Chrysoberyl weighting 16.94 Ct on a wide-band engraved with lattice design accented with brilliant-cut Diamonds. Originally purchased on a Sotheby’s auction London. 1990. A very unusual and interesting design, almost a gunmetal polished Gold that looks amazing on hand.
The three main varieties of chrysoberyl are ordinary yellow-to-green chrysoberyl, cat's eye or cymophane, and alexandrite. This particular stone is changing colour with different ambient lighting.
Striking and rare item. It's value will be sure to rise as time goes by. It may be a classic item in the near future, so it is a perfect example of the 90es fashion for the jewelry collection. Yet it can be well-worn every day or for special occasions.
