Ring Brooch Transformer Garnet Old-mine Diamonds Magen David Star, 1900
About the Item
Fine and beautifully bold ring / brooch featuring a captivating round-shaped cabochon Garnet. On top it is set with a Star of David with Old-mine Diamonds.
The main stone is surrounded by a halo of Old mine cut Diamonds, each displaying a brilliant white hue. This piece is crafted from Yellow Gold and Silver.
Being a true transformer item the Garnet and Diamonds cluster can be removed from its fastening via two tab inserts and a simple pin.
An ingenious and fast solution to turn a ring into a brooch in a minute.

These days it takes some courage to be wearing a Magen David, but it is nothing new really, this antique item from the 1900 has a twist to it, the Star is fixed at a slight angle so even back then a wearer could pretend it is a Bethlehem star.
