From the Romanov era, a distinctive Russian silver ring set with an oval orange coral from the Black Sea. The coral measures approximately 13 x 10 x 8 mm (l x w x h) and is of a fine quality and uniform colour. Of typical Russian design with leaf and bead tipped shoulders. This impressive 1950s vintage cabochon cut ring has been crafted in 14k yellow gold. The simple yet effective, substantial 14k yellow gold frame displays a stunning feature 13.20Ct cabochon cut coral, bezel set to the center of the design. The elevated cuff style ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and joins the plain shank with a channelled design. The plain ring shank is clearly hallmarked with the 14k gold fineness mark -58) and maker's mark (Ln) to the interior of the shank.
