1920s Natural Burmese Ruby Diamond Platinum Ring
About the Item
Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set with a round old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.92 carats, flanked by eight round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.08 carats, to a finely pierced collet with elegant curving claws and fancy backholing, the smoothly conforming shoulders lead through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4143. UK finger size M.
