1930s English Art Deco old mine diamond solitaire ring
About the Item
Art Deco old mine diamond solitaire ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old mine diamond, G colour, VS1 clarity in an open back fancy claw setting with a weight of 3.01 carats, further enhanced by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.71 carats, to an elegant raised square collet with fine millegrain edging, intricately pierced gallery and geometric backholing, the diamond set trumpeting shoulders supported by an open gallery and lead down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #2165756336. UK finger size N.
