Antique 18th Century Mourning Ring Karat Gold Hair Dated 1795 K. + R. Burnaby

This fine and simple morning ring was made in 1795 out of 9 karat gold, glas and hair. The ring is inscribed on the reverse with the date September 12 1795 and two names of the same family, K. Burnaby and R. Burnaby. Under the original glas we see a delicate weaving made out of two different colours of hair, light blonde and dark blonde.
