Antique Edwardian 18k Gold Platinum GIA Cushion Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
About the Item
This breathtaking antique diamond engagement ring was crafted from solid 18k yellow gold with platinum top during the Edwardian era. It features a gorgeous, old mine cut diamond solitaire at its center with a rare cushion shape. The diamond is GIA certified as being exactly 1.13 carats in weight with colorless E color and clean SI1 clarity. It's very rare to find a true old mine cut diamond with such a fine color and it is even more rare to find it in this shape; this is a truly outstanding stone. The shank, as well as the small filigree-like design under the center stone, was crafted from solid 18k yellow gold with all of the diamond settings expertly crafted from a solid piece of 900 platinum. The center stone is accented on both sides by a pair of pavé set round single cut diamonds weighing approximately 6 points per pair. Those accent stones are also very fine quality with near-colorless G/H color and very clean VS1/VS2 clarity. This is a truly gorgeous Edwardian era diamond solitaire engagement ring that remains in excellent and 100% ready to wear condition.
