Art Deco Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1925
About the Item
Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Vertically set with two round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds to the shoulders in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats, encircling a cluster of eight round rose cut diamonds of varying sizes in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.70 carats, to a tapered cluster with extremely intricate geometric openwork to centre and fine millegrain edging, with an openwork gallery and pierced backholing, leading to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Tested platinum, French control mark, circa 1925. UK finger size O.
