About the Item
A stunning Art Deco (ca1920s) era diamond engagement ring! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous piece centers on an Old European Cut diamond. The diamond weighs 2.36ctw and exhibits beautiful G color and VVS2 clarity, and rests securely within its ornate foliate engraved setting. Twelve delicate green emeralds weigh approximately 0.30ctw collectively and add a gentle touch of color to this bright white ring. The ring's gallery is filled with open wirework and one Round Brilliant diamond decorates each shoulder, weighing 0.03ct each, before foliate engraving carries down the tapered band. The ring, stamped "IRID.PLAT." inside, was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist in February of 2022 and has a stated retail replacement value of $75,000.00. This magnificent ring would make a perfect engagement ring!
The ring has a finger size of 6.5 but could easily be resized. When worn, the diamond rests approximately 5/16" above the finger. The band measures approximately 1/16" wide at the back.
