Art Deco Platinum Halo Onyx and Diamond Ring
About the Item
A striking ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring adorns an old Mine Cut diamond within a bezel setting. The diamond, weighing approximately 2.46ct in L/M color and SI2 clarity, is set in a deep black onyx halo, providing a striking contrast. The ring's gallery is accented by intricate geometric cutout detailing. The shoulders are adorned by two baguette diamonds with total weight of approximately 0.20ctw atop an attractive airline. The ring was appraised in October 2023 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $22,000.00. This piece would be a wonderful addition to any Art Deco collection or make for an attractive engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is size 7 but could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures slightly less than 1/2" wide and rests slightly less than 3/10" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The ring is overall in good condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamonds are all intact and securely set. The onyx stone is free of chips and scratches and is securely set.
