A diamond cross over ring, the two round-cut diamonds weighing 0.80 carats in total, set as a cross over design with curved diamond-set shoulders, all set in platinum,circa 1920, later hallmarked platinum 950, London, the head measuring 0.7x1.6 cm, size Q ½ , gross weight 3.1 grams. Finger size Q 1/2
This ring is in very good condition.
This elegant cross over ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. It features two sparkling diamonds arranged diagonally, set to delicate, curving, diamond encrusted shoulders. This graceful piece was made in around 1920 and is a simple yet alluring ring. It would make a wonderful antique engagement ring.
