Edwardian 0.30 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Three-Stone Ring, circa 1910s
About the Item
This Edwardian ring showcases a blue sapphire flanked by two diamonds. The sapphire is 0.30 carat, while the two diamonds are 0.25 carat each. The stones are all old cut, which would have been cut by hand at the time. The three stones are claw set in platinum, which is on am 18 carat yellow gold band. The use of these two metals was very popular in the Edwardian period.
