Edwardian 14k/Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1ct
About the Item
An absolutely exquisite Edwardian (ca1910s) diamond engagement ring! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central Peruzzi cut diamond, which has a carat weight of 1ct and is held within a four-prong setting. The breathtaking stone displays J-K color and VS1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring each feature four single cut diamonds, which reset within bead settings. The shoulders of the ring also feature simple milgrain detailing, which further adds to the unique appeal of the piece. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the outside of the shank features two small hallmarks which depict a small eagle and horseback rider. Additionally, the outside of the shank is stamped with a "TP" maker's mark. A wonderful mixed metals piece, this ring would make a lovely engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.5, but it could be re-sized. The band measures 2.07mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact.
