Large Antique Edwardian Diamond, Invisibly Set Sapphire 18k Gold Navette Ring
About the Item
Elegant Edwardian period diamond and sapphire Navette ring measuring an impressive 33mm in length, approximately knuckle to knuckle on the finger. The graceful sensual form posesses the ability to elongate the finger and complement the hand. The traditional term Navette refers to the shape of a small naval vessel, but it aslo bears a striking resemblance to the shape of an eye. The amuletic appeal of eye jewels serve as a reminder on your finger that someone is protecting and watching over you. Navette rings of this size, with invisibly set sapphires, high quality diamonds are incredibly striking and quite rare.

Composed of seven invisibly set cushion cut natural blue sapphires surrounded by 26 high quality H-I color Old European cut diamonds, set in a fine 18K white gold setting and 18K yellow gold back and shank.
