About the Item
The Mab ethical engagement ring centres on an ethical ruby heart of 0.63 carats and two chocolate diamonds set into 18ct Fairmined gold.
The band is half round and measures 2.3 x 1.9 mm
With a dreamy, romantic quality, she’s one-of-a-kind and feels like she fell from the pages of a long forgotten fairytale.
The ruby originates from Greenland, traceable from mine to market and has its own unique reference number and certification.
The hand-hammered band has two 0.10 carat chocolate coloured diamonds on either side of the main stone.
Made with Fairmined gold from small-scale miners in Peru. The miners receive a fair wage and a 10% bonus to build schools and other vital projects within the community.
Fairmined is an initiative that provides a certification label for gold sourced responsibly, ensuring its traceability and extraction using environmentally-friendly mining practices, while also promoting the growth of artisanal and small-scale mining communities.
I made Mab in my London studio in the UK. MADE TO ORDER in approx. 8 weeks.
This jewellery carries a high vibration of love. While working with gold, I sing ancient healing mantras and weave blessings and prayers into the very bones of each piece. I like to think of my jewels as ‘Little Gold Prayers’.
