Oval Ruby and Diamond 18 Carat White and Yellow Gold Cluster Engagement Ring
About the Item
This gorgeous 18 carat gold, ruby and diamond cluster ring is sublime.
The focal point of this engagement ring is a captivating lively red oval shaped ruby, weighing an estimated 1.30 carats, and expertly mounted in a twelve claw, open back setting.
Surrounding the central stone in a gracious white gold crown is a dazzling halo of 12 high quality round brilliant cut diamonds, with an estimated combined weight of 0.40 carats, accentuating the ruby's natural beauty, adding to sparkle to the ring and making this piece truly stand out. We date this gorgeous ruby ring to the 1960s or 1970s and believe it was made in Great Britain.
The yellow gold band measures approximately 2.2mm at the front and tapers to the back. The ring weighs 3.88 grams and is stamped 18ct. It is currently sized to a UK 'M', US 6.25 but could be altered.
