Platinum, Diamond & Unheated Burmese Ruby Ring
About the Item
This petit ring has been handcrafted from platinum and has been set with diamonds and a single Burmese ruby. The central 'unheated' ruby is a cabochon cut, four claw set stone weighing 5.50 carats and is classed as 'bright mid to dark pinkish red heavily included' and comes with a certification from London's 'Gemmological Certification Services'. The shoulders of the ring are each set with a single 'bullet' shaped diamond which is of F/G colour and VS clarity, totalling 0.25 carat. The frame of the ring is handmade from platinum and likely dates to the Art Deco period. This lovely piece could be a staple in a jewel wardrobe or be easily used as an engagement ring for someone who wants a point of difference.
