Retro 14k Turquoise, Diamond, and Pearl Cherub Ring
About the Item
A unique and highly-detailed cherub ring from the Retro (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring depicts two, three-dimensional winged cherubs sitting with their backs pressed against one another. A small turquoise cabochon is wedged between their backs and held within a four-prong setting. Additionally, each of the angels are holding a dainty bezel-set single cut diamond within their left hand. The cherubs are resting atop six baroque pearls, which act as the background for the two lounging figures. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is stamped with a maker's mark, which reads "IJ" and a "14" purity mark. A truly magnificent and substantial piece, this ring would make the perfect addition to any Retro jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.5, but could be resized. The large centerpiece has a width of 1 1/2" inches, is 5/8" tall, and has a depth of 5/8". The width of the band is approximately 2.6mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. There is no damage to the pearls, diamonds, or turquoise stone.
Resizing is available.
