A unique ring design for anyone looking for something different than the typical diamond ring offerings. Similar to “tiara” rings from the previous eras, this ring features a 0.88 carat round brilliant cut diamond surrounded by a halo of an additional 0.71 carats total of diamonds, above a chevron-shaped band.
Tiara rings of the early 20th-century were born from the desire of goldsmiths to highlight a particularly beautiful stone, while featuring gemstones below as accents. Indeed, this ring provides ample visual interest, with the center stone weighing 0.88 carats and surrounded by a halo of smaller, brilliant cut diamonds around and below.
This ring likely dates to the mid 20th-century, but is a lovely homage to antique rings and honors older designs beautifully while remaining unique.
