About the Item
Elegant simplicity well describes this exquisite and truly timeless solitaire Natural PINK SAPPHIRE ring which dates back to the C. 1890s, a late Victorian single Sapphire stone ring.
The Ring features a Gorgeous gem - 1.09ct Roundish CUSHION Sapphire. The Sapphire is beyond words!! A NATURAL, clean and brilliant Pink, transparent, bright, richly saturated, luscious color.
The stone is fully transparent without any hint of milkiness or cloudiness. Any natural inclusions are almost completely hidden under the rich color saturation and excellent sparkle of the stone. From most face-up angles, the stone looks completely eye-clean. Accompanied by a recent GIA certificate stating: Natural Sapphire with minor treatment such as heating, common for most corundum, all indicated on the GIA report #2235509720.
Mesmerizing, almost changing color ( under direct sunlight is appears bright pink and un the shades it draw slightly blush pink and in incandescent lighting almost gives purplish, more lavender tone) center sapphire radiates from 9K Rose Gold ( tested), nice solid mounting with the weight of 2.54 grams showcases the the sapphire perfect within extended claw - crown setting, creating a beautiful side view.
The slightly dome band tappers from 4.56 to 1.90mm on the bottom.
Finger size US 7 3/4, easy to re-size. Sits Medium on the finger 5.79mm for your comfort.

Condition: Ring is in very good antique condition. The Center sapphire is in excellent condition ( possibly not original to the ring, but a gorgeous replacement !), no sign of wear. Some very minor sign of wear on on the band and professionally done sizing. All wear would be consistent with age and use. This ring has been professionally cleaned and polished is ready for immediate wear!
