Vintage 1940s Sapphire and Diamond Yellow Gold Cocktail Ring
About the Item
A fine and impressive vintage Art Deco 0.38 carat blue sapphire and 0.50 carat diamond, 14 karat yellow gold and 14 karat white gold set cocktail ring; part of our diverse gemstone jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive sapphire ring has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a 14k white gold setting.
The pierced decorated, Art Deco style setting is ornamented with a feature 0.50Ct round mixed cut sapphire, bezel set to the center of the design.
The sapphire is flanked to the upper and lower border with an individually bezel set Old European round cut diamond.
The millegrain decorated setting is embellished with a further eight pavé set Old European round cut diamonds.
The elevated, flared 14k white gold set ring shoulders are accented with a single pavé set Old European round cut diamond displayed within a chevron design, and blend seamlessly with the plain 14k yellow gold shank.
This vintage Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14k gold.
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This impressive Art Deco style German ring is fine quality set with a blue sapphire and very well color matched, very high color graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
