Vintage Emerald and Diamond Halo Ring, circa 1950s
About the Item
Dating to the 1950s, this beautiful piece features a deep green emerald as the star of the show. It weighs 2.70 carat and has been expertly set within an 18 carat yellow gold gold. It has been finished with mille-grain edging to highlight the stunning colour. The 18 carat yellow gold continues into the gallery, which holds the emerald within the halo. The diamonds which make up the cluster are round brilliant stones, and the halo contains 0.60 carat's worth! They are F in colour and VS in clarity, making this piece even more mesmerising. There is a further 0.30 carat's worth of round brilliant down the shoulders of the ring. The dazzling diamonds are grain set within platinum, allowing their colour to shine through. The craftsmanship is impressive, as the platinum leads into the shank, made of gold.
