He is bringing back the old school technique of wax carving. There is a beauty in hand carving that cannot be duplicated with a CAD program. The touch of the wax in your hands during the whole process keeps your imagination firing and the surprises along the way are wonderful using the old tools and techniques. These rose petals hold the stone perfectly in the center. Size 7.5 5.33 carats ,Round Brilliant cut tanzanite.
