Antique 1910s Ruby and Diamond Yellow Gold Three Stone Cocktail Ring
About the Item
A fine and impressive antique 0.43 carat natural ruby and 0.56 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold, 18 karat white gold cocktail ring; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine antique ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold, with 18k white gold settings.
Three round mixed cut natural rubies are bezel set to the center of the three interlinked floral motifs that create the overall design.
Each of the rubies is encircled by eight-cut diamonds, displayed in the scallop-edged, 18k white gold setting.
The subtly flared ring shoulders are accented with a feature groove design, embellished with a simple cuff at the junction with the hallmarked plain ring shank.
The interior of the shank is hallmarked with the 18k gold fineness mark (18c).
This antique dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This original antique dress ring is fine quality, set with natural rubies and twenty four very high color graded old cut diamonds. The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and in excellent condition. The hallmark is slightly worn, but remains legible.

The elevated pierced decorated scroll setting displays five old European round cut diamonds, set in 18k white gold tipped claws / prongs graduating in size.
The ring shoulders which integrate into the claw / prong setting are ornamented with a scrolling, shaped groove design.
The pierced decorated, shaped ring shoulders meld smoothly with the plain 18k yellow gold ring shank.
The interior of the shank displays a contemporary engraved inscription "DP to JW 5/77".
