About the Item
An outstanding Bristol Blue, almost neon Vitreous Glass Baque Au Firmament Ring in 18 Kt gold and sterling silver. NOTE, any marks on the ring are reflections of light. The ring is in excellent condition. Collectors and connoisseurs recognize the rarity of Georgian vitreous glass rings. They are almost non existent. Baque Au Firmament rings are known as Rings of Heaven. The rose cut diamonds are the stars in the sky and the blue is the clear night heavens. The ring is gorgeous with repousse engraving around the tri forked shank. The center diamond cluster are approximately .70 cts of foiled rose cut diamonds.Do not wet a foiled Georgian ring. The foiling collects all available light and will get damaged if wet. The ring is size 5 and cannot be sized. The magnificence of this ring will warm you. It is an heirloom and will only appreciate in value due to its quality and condition. The ring measures 14mm wide x23mm height. Weight 7.10 grams.
