Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Plaque Ring
About the Item
Here we have a beautifully detailed ring crafted at a time when the Art Deco style was at the height of design.
The tone of the piece is set by four triangular cut sapphires which are set in pairs above and below a pierced mid section. A single old cut diamond sits at the centre of this open frame which is pervaded with rose cut diamonds. All stones here are milgrain set in platinum; a detailing which continues around the outer edge of the face. Platinum is continued onto either shoulder before a yellow gold shank completes the piece.
