About the Item

Retro cocktail Sputnik type ring of Fancy design, very unusually looking thing! Likely manufactured by H.Stern, Brazil. There are no hallmarks. Metal parts in solid 18K (tested) Orange Gold 19 various bezel set round-shaped diamond-cut- cut natural stones with open backs. The layout includes the following stones: Citrine, Blue and green aquamarines, Red and Green Tourmaline, Amethyst, and Rose Quartz. Stones measure ca Ø 4.5 mm x 3mm deep / 0.4 ct each, total weight ca. 7.5ctw. Measurements: the dome is Ø 23 mm. This ring has a size adjuster making it 2.5 mm smaller (the distance between the band and adjuster is about 2.5 mm in the center ) The size with the adjuster on is Ø 5.75US / 16.3 mm, without the adjuster size should be around Ø 8.75 US. Weight: about 8.5 grams. Used, with wear to facets of some stones. One Garnet stone with damage. Very secure settings. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. Polishing of the band is always a final step of any resizing but machinery used for polishing causes vibration that old rings (with prongs for example ) often do not like at all. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
