A very unusual and special diamond ring from the Georgian (ca1820) era! This rare single stone piece features a lovely and romantic design crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold. A sparkling old Tablet Cut diamond rests at the center, held within a wide, squared bezel frame. The diamond weighs approximately 0.68ct and the unique cut sparkles beautifully within the open-backed setting. The squared centerpiece rests at the center of a solid gold band which has a special inscription that carries around the entire exterior and interior length of the band. Engraved along the outside, the sentimental message reads: "United hearts death only parts" while the inside reads "Fear God and Love me."
