Vintage 2.60ct Diamond Five Stone Ring, c.1940s
About the Item
Sparkling in this 18ct yellow gold and platinum five stone ring is five transitional cut diamonds. To the centre sits the largest diamond weighing 0.80 carat, followed by two 0.55 carats and ending with 0.35ct at either end. They have been set into platinum open collets with dainty double claws. They match in quality, having been estimated as G-H in colour and VS2 in clarity. The solid gold band tapers up to the diamonds which draws your eyes towards them creating an elegant look.
