About the Item
It is such a delight when we discover a small but scintillating treasure! This is an antique hardstone cameo with a naturalistic shape in the form of a halo of rose cut diamonds surrounding a gentleman all of which is set in silver and backed in yellow gold. The shank was replaced in the 20th century. Presented here is a neo classic onyx cameo. There are 26 rose cut diamonds, amounting to an approximate 0.33 cts.
This vivid portrayal is anything but ordinary especially with its contrasting colors. Notice also, that one can see the fine texture of the hair and beard as well as the attention to the shading. The top of the ring has a length of 22.2 mm., and 18 mm. across the widest point. The shank is marked 14K. The ring is a size 8 and can be resized.
Please note our model has a medium to large size hand.
