About the Item
This one-of-a-kind estate ring features a 5.57 carat cabochon of natural and untreated Burmese jadeite jade in luscious, translucent "Apple Green, a pair of brilliant white, eye-clean trillion-cut diamonds that together mesure .41 carats, all securely set into a substantial (12 grams) gleaming platinum mounting.
Beautifully designed and exceptionally well made, this ring is simultaneously impressive and understated. Anyone who is familiar with fine jade will be impressed by this gorgeous green cabochon of translucent jadeite jade. The fiery pair of trillion cut diamonds add a sophisticated spark without competing with the exceptionally rare jade gem.
This size 9 ring (we don't offer resizing, but your local jeweler should have no problem resizing this ring for you) would make an excellent wedding band, "signature" ring, and because the band is only 6.54mm at its tallest, you could comfortably wear it with a stack of other favorite rings. It's so incredibly versatile.
The translucency of this stone is what makes this ring so exceptional. By day, a pleasing apple green, but as the light fade, the stone seems to darken in that magical way only jadeite jade seems to do. So that in the lowest light, the stone appears nearly imperial in color.
