About the Item

Wide band Neoclassical / Renaissance styled hand-made Ring in Yellow 18K Gold featuring three bezel set natural vivid Blue Turquoise stones cut cabochon. Central stone Ø 3.75 mm / ca.0.25 ct. Two on the flanks about Ø 2.75 mm / ca.0.12 ct each. Total about 0.5 ctw. The band is 11 mm wide. An interesting detail of the design is the continuous hand-engraved floral decor on the band. This ring closely follows the traditions of ancient Greek and Roman jewelry-making school that continued through the Middle Ages, the Renaissance period, and further to the present times. Specific construction makes this ring great for regular (careful !) wear. Set of Swedish hallmarks, 18K, Stockholm. Year combination C9 / born in 1953. Size: Ø 4.5 US / 15.27 mm. I asked my jeweler about sizing up, she said that is possible to go up about 1 -1.5 US sizes, but some changes to ornament cannot be avoided. She will choose the best place to cut and will engrave on top of sizing work to imitate the pattern as much as possible. Weight: 3 grams. Fine used condition.
