AJD Rose Quartz and Garnet Silver Ring Great Gift!!
About the Item
This exciting ring of Rose Quartz and Garnet is just what you want for Valentine's Day and on through the year. The generous 20.2 carat translucent oval rose quartz features a checkerboard table. The two sparkling oval garnets which accent the rose quartz are perfect accompaniments for it. These gorgeous gemstones are nestled in a handmade Sterling Silver ring from one of our favorite Brazilians. These gemstones come from his mines and his craftsmen made the settings.
Rose Quartz is a variation of the quartz mineral which is clear when pure. As far back as 800 BC the Assyrians were crafting rose quartz into precious jewelry. The Greeks used it, as well as the Egyptians, and the Romans. All these civilizations believed in the elegant and rare Rose Quartz. It is linked to Aphrodite and Adonis. It was said to encourage the quality of unconditional love. It was used to remove negative thoughts and bring the wearer into positive love and balance.
Now mined in many parts of the world, rose quartz varies from a delicate pale pink to stronger shades. Some rose quartz is transparent however most is translucent or cloudy which gives it its magical color.
It is said to have many healing properties. Those with heart problems, including circulatory and heart attacks are encouraged to keep rose quartz close. Also, a healer of emotional heart aches, keep rose quartz near you to heal emotional wounds. Rose quartz is also said to strengthen the bonds between a mother and her unborn child.
