Antique Yellow Gold Platinum Three Diamond Ring, Circa 1920s
About the Item
18 Karat Yellow Gold Platinum Three Diamond Antique Ring. Simple and elegant handmade three diamond ring design. All three diamonds are brilliant-cut and five prong-set in platinum. The center diamond is larger measuring 5.2mm, while the side diamonds measure 4.1mm and 3.9mm for an approximate total carat weight of 0.95 - 1.00ctw. The diamonds are I-1 in clarity (G.I.A.) and G-H in color (G.I.A.). The diamonds have some minor inclusions consistent with the age of the ring however it does not distract from the beauty of the diamonds and overall ring. Stamped on the inside of the band is a crown symbol, 750, two other symbols and a 1, on the other side 96 A. The hallmarks date the ring to approximately the 1920s. The ring size is 6 1/4. The ring has a weight of 3.62 grams.
