Orloff of Denmark; 925 Sterling Silver Cocktail Ring set with thirteen Natural Cambodian Blue Zircons totaling to 9.4 carats.
This piece has been meticulously hand-crafted out of 925 sterling silver.
In the center sits a 6.55 carat blue zircon mined, polished and cut in Ratanakiri, Cambodia.
Featured on all sides, we proudly present twelve sensational mix-cut round blue zircons that have been re-cut in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Zircon, in our opinion is a stone that can be coupled with anything and still produce a fine piece of work. Therefore we have paired it with itself, to bring forth a beauty that has been overlooked by the majority of the industry for far too long.
These gems have a fine blue hue with a light tone and vivid saturation, making them 'Sky Blue Zircons'.
Natural Zircon, which is a mineral that forms naturally deep in the Earth's crust, unfortunately tends to gets mistaken with the diamond imitation 'CZ' or 'Cubic Zirconia', a man-made mineral, synthesized in a lab through the mixing of zirconium oxide powder and metals such as magnesium and calcium.
The Zircon is an utterly outstanding gem that can take up to several million years to form and survive countless geological events, it simply does not deserve to be mistaken for a synthetic that can be manufactured in as little as 5 days.
