A gorgeous Padparadscha sapphire weighing 2.15 carats is the center piece of this colorful 3 stone ring. Padparadscha sapphires are among the rarest sapphires found and their unique color with a distinct punkish-orange hue make them so highly desirable. Sapphires are known to be found in all colors of the rainbow but only the exact combination of pink and orange gems will receive the classification of Padparadscha. The name stems from the Sinhalese " padma radschen "meaning ‘aquatic lotus blossom’,
These rare gems were first discovered in Sri Lanka and became well known after Princess Eugenie's choice as an engagement ring.
This ring is accompanied by a gemological appraisal report from GAL ( Gemmological Appraisal Laboratory of America ) with an appraised value of $ 15,000. As we were able to purchase this ring from the inventory of a jewelry store, closing down, at a highly competitive price, we are passing this advantageous price along to our customers.
