Not many people are aware that Newark, New Jersey was a major hub for the manufacture of jewelry from the late 1800's until the 1950's. One of the leading companies, the Riker Brothers, has an early history that dates back to 1846. Their pieces are quite sought after and still remain highly collectible today.
An absolutely magnificent Riker Brothers wedding band from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in palladium, this band features a smooth and simple surface. The inside of the shank is stamped with a "PALL" purity mark and the Riker Brothers maker's mark. A timeless piece, this wedding band would blend seamlessly into any antique or estate jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.5, and the band has a width of 3.25m.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the palladium setting.
