About the Item

Vintage William Ruser Sagittarius Figurative Ring c.1960's Size 7.25 Signed Rare and Collectible At 17, William Ruser embarked on his remarkable journey to acclaim, joining the esteemed Trabert & Hoeffer in Atlantic City. By the late 1930s, Ruser found himself transferred to Los Angeles, where he would oversee the company's California operations for several years. In 1947, after serving during WWII, Ruser and his wife Pauline opened their eponymous jewelry emporium on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills—a pivotal move that would firmly establish Ruser's legacy in the heart of Hollywood's golden era. Renowned for his whimsical sculptural designs, Ruser's creations adorned the elite of Hollywood, from Marlene Dietrich to Lana Turner and the incomparable Ava Gardner. From the glitz of Beverly Hills to the silver screen, Ruser's pieces captivated audiences with their artistic spirit and playful exuberance. This exquisite 18K solid gold ring, adorned with a semi-precious turquoise stone symbolizing the birthstone of Sagittarius, embodies the essence of Ruser’s whimsy. With the centaur's horse-half legs adorning the ring and the archer poised to release his arrow, promises to capture the heart of those who wear it. Fanciful and undeniably stylish, this prized collectible is destined to leave a lasting impression.
