About the Item
Antique Swiss 14K yellow gold pendant watch - elaborate double hunter case with hand tooling to the front and back - hand painted enamels of putti playing 'Boules' - set with eight old European cut diamonds (front of case - 5 x 1 mm. diameter each (one replaced) rear of case - 3 x 1.5 mm. each) - entirely hand made - serial number 1457 27 - Swiss Squirrel hallmark and stamped 14K - Switzerland - circa 1870.
Excellent antique condition - movement in working order - keeps fair time (not to be compared with modern digital timepieces) - restored enamels - original dial and hands - one diamond replaced - signs of age and use - ready to wear.
