About the Item
This is a fantastic example of a J. Assman I/Sachsen Glasshutte pocket watch from circa 1890. The White Enamel dial in perfect condition with no hairline cracks or marks, with Arabic numerals outer minute track and sub seconds dial at six o’clock.
The dial signed J. Assman I/Sachsen Glasshutte.
The stunning 52mm Cyrillic engraved Full Hunter case is signed J. Assman and with German Hallmarks for 14ct Gold with a gross weight of 98.2g. The fine gilt metal movement fully signed, jewelled and with compensation balance and micrometer regulation is functioning fantastically.
This is a superb pocket watch comes in the original box which comes with the original replacement glass and replacement mainspring. This piece would make a great addition to any collection or the start of one. Get yourself a piece which really have room for growth and potential.
