Remontoir Cylindre 10 Rubis Woman's Pocket Watch with three lids.
Made of 14 ct slight red gold, with eight diamonds (= 0,40 ct in total) decorating the clockface covering lid,
all lids made of 14 ct gold
Enamel clockface with Roman numerals.
Detailed Explanations:
A watch type 'REMONTOIR' is a pocket watch with winding crown. The first watch of 'REMONTOIR TYPE' had been constructed in Geneva / Switzerland by Adrien Philippe in year 1842: Caused by this innovation, keyless winding has become possible / beyond that, the opening of clock's case was unnecessary / unneeded then. For this reason Mr. Philippe received a golden medal during Paris World Exhibition in year 1844.
