About the Item

An Eternal Celebration. Fiona Kruger Petit Skull (Celebration) Eternity Watch with Original Boxes Created by the artist, Fiona Kruger, the Petit Skull Watch combines her background in design and approach to create the nexus of horology and artistic creativity. The Skull collection was launched in 2013 and set a new standard for bold, creative and visionary design and functionality. The Petit Skull watch collection, introduced in 2017, is limited to 18 pieces and is hand made in Switzerland with an automatic movement and a skeletonized case that has a hand decorated oscillating weight. The dial, a work of art in and of itself, is created in three layers and features hand polishing, PVD finishing and perlage. This is accented by hand painting using lacquer and superluminova for fine details. According to Fiona Kruger, “Each colour used in the decorating of the dial has a specific meaning pertaining to the Dia de Los Muertos celebration, and was individually selected for the creation of these watches.” The result is not only a beautiful work of art, but also a functional one that glows in the dark. The case is decorated with fine gemstones and diamonds throughout the bezel. Each of the seven colors is specifically chosen as they represent a day of the week and were inspired by Kruger’s grandmother’s eternity ring. This incredible watch measures 10mm in height and is 35mm x 50mm. The watch features a stainless steel crown at twelve o’clock and is fitted on an orange pebbled strap. This watch comes with the original inner and outer boxes. Life is a celebration. This watch fits a 4.75" to 6.0" wrist. Please contact us for sizing and strap options.
