WHEN 1950s RACE CARS MEET SWISS WATCHMAKING
L’Epée 1839 takes us behind the wheel of the Time Fast. This vintage-inspired race car and a modern clock in one is a kinetic sculpture that tells the time.
It was designed by Georg Foster, a promising young newcomer and major contributor to this second collaboration between ECAL (Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne) and the Swiss manufacture.

THE FAMILY
JUWELEN WEBER – Founded in 1994 in Rottach-Egern at Tegernsee by Manfred and Hannelore Weber, the family business is now run in the second generation by Thomas Weber and his wife Birgit. Thomas Weber is a gemologist and diamond appraiser who is at home in the world of gemstones with passion and expertise. In addition to the jewelry store, he ardently runs an exclusive restaurant on Seestraße in the heart of the village. Birgit Weber complements the business with her own collection of traditional costume jewelry. With love for detail and a sense for convention, she designs unique pieces of jewelry that perfectly match the traditional Bavarian costumes. With Manfred Weber, an experienced master goldsmith, craftsmanship and years of experience flow into their work.
