Waltham Fontomatic Men's Wrist Watch w Date
About the Item
In its period and considered modernist style circa late 1950's, this 33mm vintage Waltham Men's Wrist Watch presents a sleek look with a black face,contrasting gold-toned spear hands and understated gold-tone numeral markers. The date window positioned at 3:00 has great visibility in red corresponding with a touch of red atop the maker's mark. The automatic movement is a 17 jeweled FHF65 "Fontomatic" also very often found in other well-known watch brands of the era such as Gireaux, Gruen 666, Allain and Hilton. The Waltham steel back case is silver-toned and has a few scratches. A new black soft calfskin leather strap has been installed. Gift boxed.
