Originally designed as a gas lamp by the Rochester Lamp Company, one of the premier American lighting manufacturers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this fixture has been thoughtfully electrified for modern use while retaining all its antique character. The lamp features a richly detailed cast brass body with ornate embossing and a vented base, a hallmark of the original oil and gas-burning models.
