Unusual Vintage Floor Cigar Ashtray, Candle Holder, Match Box Holder Copper Iron
Located in Oakland, CA
An unusual design in a cigar floor stand ashtray, created out of copper, brass, with a three legged iron base wrapped in copper wire which has a candle holder to relight the cigar and a match box holder to relight the candle. The handle allows the user to lift the stand up off the ground to better light the cigar. The leg tips of the stand are also tipped in copper as well. Origin is unknown, style and materials of construction could possibly place it as French or American and possible dates of manufacture are from late 1940s to early 1950s all of this seems to make this a very reasonable guess. A truly interesting and clever design in vintage smoking accessories.
