Orbe Wall Lamp, by Rain, Contemporary Lamp, Brass & Aluminium, Silver & Blue
By RAIN
Located in Sao Paulo, SP
Orbe is a wall lamp with indirect light, designed to provide soft illumination to the environment. ? The piece has a simple structure, composed by the minimum required for its functionality: the front box houses the light source and provides the weight that supports the set; the conical plate has the function of gradually rebounding the light, creating a nuance of shade that encicles its volume; the back support provides stability to the piece and completes its silhouette. Each of these elements is marked by the use of different colors and finishes that seek to emphasize the precise constitution of the Orbe lamp. ? Its name alludes to the aesthetics of the object, given by the conjunction of the geometric design with its metallic finishes and matte colors. At the same time, the circular reflector that surrounds the frontal totem sets...

Jorge Zalszupin Rosewood foldable Desk, Brazilian Midcentury
By Jorge Zalszupin
Located in New York, NY
Writing desk designed by Jorge Zalszupin and manufactured by his company, L'atelier. This piece is covered with rectangular pieces of marquetry wood, a creative resource developed by Zalszupin. The technique consists of gluing several pieces of rosewood leaves of different textures and shades on a furniture surface, which forms a beautiful wood patchwork. This feature allows large surfaces to be coated with a larger visual unit, making it easier to combine different furniture together. This writing desk is a dynamic piece, which can be used both in the corporate and domestic places, a characteristic very present in Zalszupin's production. About his marquetry technique, Zalzszupin affirms: "I thought about combining several patterns of rosewood, lighter, darker, with different types of veins, that is, creating a new pattern for all desks...

Dimensions: High table D 50/ H 50 cm - Low table D 70/ H 40 cm Porto low tables are composed of a circular top that seems to rest on a sturdy oblong base. Lightness and weight overlap creating a harmonic and unconventional monoblock. The unagreement between the geometry of the elements generates irregular pieces capable of evoking movement, as they elude the gaze, changing according to the viewing angle. The tables give continuity to the Porto collection, whose inspiration comes from the weight and scale...

By Noemi Saga Atelier
Located in Sao Paulo, BR
This contemporary style partition screen or room divider, painted in MDF, is made of sucupira hardwood. Named the Conogó, this partition screen is art–furniture. Its constructive and aesthetic inspiration is a mix of references that goes from several fields, from universal cultural roots to contemporary art. In one hand, Conogó’s constructive form and its use of simple materials references the work of indigenous ancestors and their connection with nature. On the other hand, its play with optical illusion, rhythm and movement creates dialogue with contemporary Kinetic art. The screen partition...

Hardwood and Metal Outdoor Center Table, Minimalist Design
By SIMONINI
Located in Vila Cordeiro, São Paulo
This center table is made in a minimalist design for outdoor use. This low center table or coffee table is part of the Skyfolding In-Outdoor collection, the collection concept is inspired by the Asian building scaffoldings, where a structure is composed by bamboo sticks crossed to create this inspiring and fascinating structures. We combined elements of this structures and also references from the ballet stretching bars that often combine metal and wood, this combo is the concept very soul. All the figurative elements are abstracted in the design process to extract the precise best of each world, and by then resulting in a collection of delicate objects, cult and curated to the minimum details, in design and engineering. The collection is composed by outdoor net, batyline or plastic, in a portion leaving room to a more soft design approach that is harmonious, this elements are combined to a structure made of wood and metal that transcends to tech and soft, a paradigm of past, present and future that invite all the viewers to contemplate and reflect in this philosophical matters in a tactile and visual way. Resulting is a essential and timeless set of objects designed for the modern lifestyle that permit infinite compositions indoors or outdoors that will participate in lives for a lifetime like a breeze full of “zen” elements and energy. Pedrita Table Lamp, Brazilian Contemporary Design in Brazilian Quartz, Model S
By Noemi Saga Atelier
Located in Sao Paulo, BR
This is Pedrita table lamp (Model S) and it is part of Pedrita lamp series. Pedrita lamp series’ concept is based on an experimentation of Brazilian stones: quartzites and quartz crystals, which are natural, semiprecious and exotic stones found in Brazilian territory. We worked in a Minimalist perspective, using straight lines and simple shapes to highlight materials’ natural properties. Their colors, vein patterns and translucency resemble green forest landscapes, greenish archipelagos, paths shaped by volcanic golden lava, running rivers or glacier and icebergs. Pedrita means ‘valuable stone’ and translates our desire to honor an alliance between national natural resources and Brazilian design. Technical specifications: Measures: Model S table 32...
