Handmade Kilim Rugs, Antique Wool Jajim, Striped Red Cream Wool Textile
Located in Wembley, GB
A practical variation on the flat-weave Kilim, this Caucasian coverlet, or jajim, features a bold, inherently versatile pattern of multi-width stripes perfectly suited for Mid-Century Modern interiors. Ochre and umber stripes with narrow outlines decorate the fiery cinnabar ground while creating a stylish and sophisticated pattern yet totally understated. These graphic stripes, which would be equally at home in a western design repertoire, still manage to retain their rustic sensibilities. Hidden variations give the seemingly balanced stripes an inconspicuous asymmetric repeat. Pinstripe accents in neutral hues of white and walnut brown emphasise the boldly banded stripes and offset the high-chroma ground. Like many of the most sought-after tribal textiles, this Caucasian Jajim has natural modernity and a Minimalist aesthetic imbued with ethnographic qualities that enliven modern interiors. This piece is in great condition, ready for use in any home interior.

Oriental Rugs, Large Handmade Carpet Red Rugs, Traditional Rugs Sale
Located in Wembley, GB
Handmade carpet Kazak large rugs are patterned oriental rugs primarily produced as village productions rather than city pieces. This red rug is made from organic materials particular to individual tribal provinces, and the rugs of the Caucasus typically display bold geometric rug designs in primary colours. Afghan Kazak-style rugs have inspired a type of Caucasian Kazak rugs that were woven in the south of Caucasus, between Tiflis and Erevan. They are not associated with any particular tribe but with the geographical areas in which they were made. One can find this size rug most suitable to be used as large living room rugs and dining room rugs as well. At the same time, this size Kazak style has been most popular at our rug store.
